vreden.de – the City of Vreden’s website has been given a fresh new look, featuring a host of new and useful functions. Developed using a ‘mobile-first’ approach, the website caters to the needs of modern users, as over 80 per cent of visits to the site are made via smartphones.
The new website offers a platform that is far more than just a simple source of information. It brings together content from Vreden Town Council, Vreden Town Marketing and the Vreden Youth Service, thereby providing a comprehensive overview of what’s happening in the town. The clean, modern design makes it intuitive to use.
With a wide range of interfaces, the website provides a user-friendly experience for the public. The link to the German Weather Service, KATWARN – the warning and information system for the public – a self-optimising search function and a link to the JugendCampus app are just some of the innovative features the website offers.
The website also lists 128 municipal services across 14 subject areas. Over 162 different forms are available online. ‘Digital administration’ will continue to be expanded in the future. This simplification of administrative processes represents a significant step towards digital transformation.
