Not only new for Vreden, but also unique in our region: Young people and their parents can now find out about the apprenticeship programs offered by Vreden companies with the help of the Jugendwerk app.

More than 250 apprenticeship positions in 55 occupational fields are presented by Vreden companies in the new "Ausbildung" (Apprenticeship) menu item. However, the app not only provides information about apprenticeships, but also about internships and offers for dual studies.

The service is available free of charge to all companies in Vreden and is continuously updated and expanded. It is also possible to apply for a job via the app, as ready-made forms are already stored with which you can send your application by pressing your thumb.

All companies in Vreden can use this information platform free of charge. The offer is continuously updated and expanded. The app also offers advantages for applicants. Ready-made forms are already stored there, which can be filled out in the app. Interested parties can then send their application by simply pressing their thumb.

"The new apprenticeship area underlines our long-term commitment to the further development of the app and represents the next step towards contemporary digital youth work," emphasizes Johannes Terhürne, founder and CEO of the startup conduco labs, which developed the app pro bono for and with the Jugendwerk Vreden. Markus Funke, pedagogical director of the Jugendwerk Vreden, adds: "The new area expands our digital engagement by the field of career orientation and thus offers all young people a direct point of contact to be best prepared for the time after school."

In addition to the new "home" in the JugendCampus app, the city of Vreden continues to advertise the offer on its website at ausbildung.vreden.de.

"An innovative step to communicate apprenticeship opportunities in Vreden," says Mayor Dr. Tom Tenostendarp. "Especially in view of the upcoming economic show Aufwind 2022, the app will be promoted in the schools of the surrounding communities and towns."

The JugendCampus app can now be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. On devices on which the app is already installed, the update will be installed automatically. "We look forward to intensive use of this offer," says Jörg Lenhard, coordinator of the training working group of the city of Vreden.

By the way: We are also represented as a training company in the JugendCampus app. For the 2023 training year, we are training a media designer (m/f/x). You can find the job advertisement here:
